Abstract

Online learning during the pandemic has become a new learning model for the majority of students and lecturers in tertiary institutions, as well as in the BK study program Universitas Muhammadiyah Tasikmalaya (UMTAS). This can be seen from the existence of student questions regarding the learning system or delivery of material via Online to the lecturer. This study aims to describe the learning difficulties of BK students based on gender during the Covid 19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive method. The subjects of this study were students of class 2017-2020. The instrument used was a learning difficulty instrument. The result shows that there are no male students with low learning difficulties category, while about 8.06% of female students fall into the low learning difficulty category. There are about 19.35% male students being moderate and about 68.55% female students included in the moderate learning difficulty category. There are about 4.23% male students and only about 0.81% (1 person) female who fall into the category of high learning difficulties. The average score for the category of female students who have low learning difficulties is 3,120, this condition cannot be compared with male students because none of them fall into the low learning difficulty category. It can be predicted that the learning difficulty of male students in the moderate category is greater than that of female students. Conversely, it can be predicted that the learning difficulties of female students in the high category are greater than that of male students.
