Indonesia is a region prone to natural disasters such as landslides, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis and floods. This condition encourages the community, including children, to have insight, understanding and preparedness for possible disasters around them. Understanding of disasters in early childhood needs to be supported by learning media following their characteristics. Using Educational Based Research research design and analyzed by 8 teachers, this research focuses on developing instructional media that can be used to improve early childhood understanding of disasters. The posters developed through this research are (1) Flood Alert, (2) Natural Disaster Characteristics, (3) Earthquake Alert, (4) Coronavirus Prevention. Meanwhile, three songs were created with the title- (1) Floods, (2) Sorting Garbage, (3) Avoid Corona, while the animated video entitled Knowing Flood Disaster. According to the teacher^s analysis results, the developed storybooks, posters, songs, and animated videos have material related to disasters, which are attractive and useful for children^s understanding of disasters.
