Abstract
The development of environmental awareness in the field of tourism particularly for the environmentally friendly practice, has increased in the last two decades. This research aims to know the comparative public relations strategy of Bali and Langkawi government in socialize the environmentally friendly practice in hotels. A qualitative approach and case study method were used to analyze this research. As the result, though both islands are the first tourism destination in each country and also famous in the world, the government from the two islands are using different approach where Bali is using the role of associations and culture become the best strategy, and Langkawi is giving the free policy to every hotel. Different approach has given different impact for both islands.
