DESIGNING APPLICATION COMMUNITY BASED EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Emergencies can occur in everyday life. This event can happen anytime, anywhere and to anyone. Therefore everyone must be prepared to face and overcome these conditions quickly and precisely. This study aims to build an android application to facilitate the common people in emergencies that occur in everyday life. This application is built using the Java programming language for Android with the Eclipse 3.5 IDE. The system development method used to build this application is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which consists of the stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and management. The features provided in the andorid application include: Basic Life Support in Emergencies- First Aid for Bleeding and Wounds, First Aid for Joint, Bone and Muscle Injury- First Aid for Sudden Illness- First Aid for Insect Bites- First Aid for Poisoning- and First Aid For Burns.
