Abstract

Writing this thesis aims to determine the activeness of students in the learning process, to find out whether the learning model can foster student activeness or not and to find out how students respond or respond to the learning model Learning Start With A Question. This study was an experimental study with an intact group comparison design. The subjects of this study were class IV SD N 01 Mlandi, Garung, Wonosobo Garung, one class was divided into two groups, one experimental class and one control class. The results showed that 1) Application of Learning Model Start With A Question in Fostering Activeness of Class IV Students of SD N 01 Mlandi, Garung, Wonosobo Garung Wonosobo Academic Year 2020/2021. With this model learning is more interesting and students are more enthusiastic about learning. 2) Application of Learning Start With A Question Learning Model in Fostering Activeness of Class IV Students of SD N 01 Mlandi, Garung, Wonosobo Garung Wonosobo Academic Year 2020/2021 can foster student activity. This is evidenced by the increase in the experimental class gain test by 0.635 and the control class increased by 0.137. Based on the results of the analysis of student activity data with the t test, it was found that t count was 4.37 and t table 2.73 at a significant level of 1% and 2.03 at a significant level of 2.03 Dk 18 + 18-2, namely 34. 4.37> 2.73. So in this study it shows that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that the application of the Learning Start With A Question learning model can foster student activity. 3) The responses and responses of grade IV students to the application of the Learning Start With A Question learning model were very good, they were more enthusiastic and more active in learning for the experimental class, while the control class using the conventional method students only listened to the teacher^s explanation.
