ANALYSIS OF COMMUNITY ATTITUDES AND BEHAVIORS IN PANDEMIC COVID -19 STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis Abstract Introduction: Coronavirus (CoV) is a virus that can cause illness ranging from mild to severe symptoms. Objective: To analyze the relationship between the attitudes and behavior of the people of Ciamis Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a correlation analytic design. A sample of 144 respondents was taken randomly through the google form application which was distributed via WhatsApp to the people of Ciamis Regency. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square analysis. Results: People who have a positive attitude are 746 people (54%). And have a negative attitude 632 people (46%). Meanwhile, the majority of people behaved positively during the Covid 19 pandemic, as many as 725 people (53%). And negative behavior as many as 653 people (47%). Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between attitudes and behavior of the people of Ciamis district during the Covid 19 pandemic with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). The attitudes and behavior of the majority of the people of Ciamis Regency are good. This condition is expected to support efforts to handle the Covid-19 case in Ciamis Regency well. However, monitoring from the government and the community is still needed to maintain a conducive situation in an effort to break the chain of transmission of Covid 19.
