Abstract

This research aims to obtain worksheet-based elementary linear algebra teaching materials that are in accordance with the principles of constructivism, to obtain valid and practical worksheet-based linear algebra teaching materials and to obtain worksheet-based elementary linear algebra teaching materials that can improve student problem solving abilities. This research was conducted in the Mathematics Education study program FKIP Kuningan University for Semester 2 students of the 2018-2019 Academic Year. This type of research is development research whose development procedure was adapted from Sugiyono. The populations in this study were students in the second semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research data collection techniques used was test techniques and questionnaire techniques. The results of this development research include: (1) Worksheet-based Elementary Linear Algebra Teaching Materials with a constructivism approach that was developed to meet constructivism in concept discovery, (2) Worksheet-based Elementary Linear Algebra Teaching Materials with a constructivism approach developed in a very valid and practical category, and (3) Worksheet-based Elementary Linear Algebra Teaching Materials with the developed constructivism approach can improve the problem-solving abilities of low-category students.
