Theory has explained that the nutritional status of a person is determined directly by
food intake and infection disease, these two causes are interrelated. Please explain,
(1) why in this study the important variables that directly affect the nutritional status
of adolescents are nutritional intake and the habit of consuming vegetables and fruit?
(2) how can this study control for other important variables that have a direct effect on
adolescent nutritional status, namely disease infection so as not to interfere with those
variables. which is being researched?

1. It is true that nutritional status is influenced by food intake and infectious
diseases, my research is about the nutritional status of adolescents with an obesity
background and the level of consumption of vegetables and fruit, so I include these
two variables in the study, of course by including other variables such as total
nutrient intake
