Question from Ms. Suri Rahmadhani 2020.11.18 14:01:15 Based on the media rupublika.com, it is stated that the Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) states that trust community to management institutions waqf is able to increase participation community for waqf. However, why is there still an assessment of the low level of public trust in the Waqaf Institution? How do you react so that people can trust in waqaf institutions? Thank you.

Reply from Mr. Adi Santoso 2020.11.18 15:16:01 In Indonesia there are still many Muslim communities who do waqf not through waqf institutions, this shows that even though the number of waqf participation in BWI is increasing, there are some people who do not carry out waqf through BWI, to minimize this behavior, we created an e-waqf application for nadzir so that Information regarding waqf assets and their management can be accessed by wakif where they are located so that they can exercise control over the waqf assets they have submitted and if the wakif valuation of the assets they have submitted is not managed properly, wakif has the right to transfer these assets to Nadzir or other trustworthy waqf institutions.
