1. What are the factors that influence someone who commits a criminal act of
corruption?
2. Do you think that the death penalty will be effective in creating a deterrent
effect on someone from committing a criminal act of corruption?

Good day, madam Dyah.

Thank you for such a great question, what i think is:

1. There are internal and external factors. One of the internal factor regarding morals and lifestyle. While the external factors is from the legal side: the existence of legal rules regarding Corruption but weak law enforcement efforts and unclear legal formulations including regarding article 2 paragraph 2 in the Corruption Law regarding this death penalty.

2. I think death penalty is very effective to provide a deterrent effect. Seeing that so far there has never been a corruption perpetrator who has been sentenced to death so that corruption is widespread.
