interesting research, as we know there are so many smokers in Magelang,
especially in the village, and as health team, we know about the impact.
Are the results of your research with a number of samples able to describe the
Magelang regency? If so, will you tell the government the results you get to follow
up with a health program that can reduce exposure to smoking to children?
interesting question. my answer more and less similar with previous
question. this research result is similar actually, other research with older
children (12-15 yrs) in national level aso showed almost similar percentage of
shs exposure, approximately 85,4% so I assumed when research conducted
in other region in Indonesia perhaps the picture will be more or less similar.
and this research underlined our concern that the present of infant in a home
does not impact at home smoking behavior. I strongly
suggest when our concern is in reducing shs exposure on infant, parents
need to be aware before the baby born. so the promotion to ban at home
smoking exposure on infant should be embedded in Buku KIA. if we haven^t
successed to reduce parental smoking behavior, at least they smoke outside
the house.
