Could you explain why you choose this catalyst than the other common base catalyst such as KOH and NaOH? I choose the potasium carbonate as a base catalyst because potasium carbonate (K2CO3) as base catalyst can reduce soap formation and also gives the high yields of fatty acid esters. Besides, this catalyst can avoid the reaction from impurity, so the purification of products becomes easier. Thank you, hopefully you always fine there, stay healthy..
