Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb
My name is Sovia. I would like to deliver my question to you.
According to the result in picture 1 (response to cosmetic brands), are the respondents you used for sampling is representative? because the difference in responses of respondents on wardah product and other products is quite large.

Already. In this study using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this
study was selected based on the following criteria:
1. The population of Pekalongan City is female with a minimum age of 15
years.
2. Women who work and use cosmetics every day.
3. Women who already know about halal cosmetic products.
Addition: If you look at conditions in Pekalongan, there are indeed many shops
here selling the Wardah brand. Maybe that could also be the reason why
respondents used the Wardah brand compared to other brands.

Question from Mr. Mohammad Fikri Zulfikar
2020.11.18 13:17:08

Why choose Pekalongan City as a place to collect data related to decision-making responses related to halal cosmetics? even though there are indeed cities that are identic with Islamic cities such as the City of Jombang with the city of Sastri which seems to have its citizens concerned with halal matters.

Pekalongan itself is known as the city of students, so I think this research is
appropriate if the respondent is in Pekalongan.

Question from Ms. Laila Sukria

Assalamu^alaikum wr.wb..
thanks for your beautiful presentation. Based on the ingredients, what is the
reference for the product as halal? is it only based on the halal label from MUI?

That is only one factor, then there are several other things that become
indicators to find out the halalness of the cosmetics, including the country of
origin of the product and the composition of the ingredients.
