1. What problems were found that made this research necessary?
2. How can the longer stirring time and holding time have lower porosity values?

Thank you Ms. Ms. Chauliah Fatma Putri for your question.
1. The alloying of aluminum and copper (Al-Cu) can reduce the alloy^s castability or flowability- this deficiency can lead to porosity defects, thereby reducing product quality.
2. The rheocasting process is a casting technique that uses semi-solid metal as a substitute for liquid metal. The rheocasting method produces a metal slurry in a semi-solid phase by applying a shear force to the molten metal through mechanical stirring using a stirring rod. In this semi-solid phase, if the liquid metal is given a shear force in the form of rotation, the dendritic microstructure will be cut due to the sheer force from stirring so that the dendritic structure will not be formed and becomes a microstructure in the form of pieces of the dendritic structure, this structure is commonly called globular structures.
