The red curve is better than blue curve while using target voltage below
~50V. Then blue curve become better while using target voltage above
~50V.
The reason was,
Red curve using oxlaic acid that provide cooler electrolytes, more cool
means more better curent density (in my case). And also give higher
growing rate.
But, in my case of red curve, above 50V give a bad internal stress to the
surface.
What is the parametric of the definition of hard in your reseach about hardening
the alumunium? compare to the hard parametric of the other metal

Maybe i can answer your question with a qualitative answer.
Hard anodized (AAO films) produced in my study have a quite good
surface propertis.
I hypotize it corrosion resistance was quite good.
